Eden NSW

Will be our new home

such a pretty little town, great views, lovely people

a fantastic primary school

a rig supply ship in Port on our first morning

Our new home lol, not really but I would love it

Yesterday we had the day to ourselves so we went touring arournd

found ourselves in

Bega, home of Bega cheese

and at Tathra, home of the Tathra Wharf

Tathra

then onto Merimbula

I have discovered there are 3 shops that sell Patchwork supplies in

Merimbula, I only checked out 1, fabric was cheap but not very

nice, I will be sure to check out the other 2 when we get settled in

So our plan of attack is for dh to go first, once he has found us somewhere to

live, the girlies and the animals and I will get the removalists in, pack up,

clean our house from top to bottom, load up the car, collect our camper trailer

catch the ferry to Melbourne and drive to Eden.

well that is our plan.......

and we all know plans are subject to change lol

so thats what I have done over the last 2 days

Looking forward to getting some sewing done tonight,

I forgot to take some with me :(

I am Back

and so very happy to be home.

Had a great time away

meet some fabulous people

looked at a delicious house

ate way to much yummy food

found a fantastic coffee shop

mabye had a couple to many drinks

and learnt that I am definately NOT

a B&B kind of girl lol

and that I am not so good when I have to wait in

aiports for 4 hours, only to board the plane and

get stuck on the tarmac for 30 minutes because of a

storm!

Anyhoo I am home

about to go to bed

and sometime tomorrow after I have collected

my girlies will be back with photo's

and tell you all about it!

 

I'll Be Back

Think of me tomorrow as I crawl out of

my warm bed, leaving my bed mate Henry

sleeping on my pillow, at 4:30am

we are off to NSW until Friday night

my babies are all at grandmas

the kitties are going to be home alone

except when someone comes to feed, water and do

the kitty litter lol

we will be home 11pm Friday night

I have the camera packed

so I will be back sometime on Saturday with

my thoughts on the little town that is to become

our home.....

Weekly Weigh in time

and I will confess I wasn't feeling all that good

about standing on the dreaded scales

you see I have had a bit of a naughty week

Friday I ate Hungry Jacks

23 points worth of HJ

then to compensate I did a 1hr Kimax class

so my HJ feast cost me

12 points because of Kimax, but I did have

a few drinkies on Friday night, oh and Thursday night

I didn't go to Zumba on Saturday
but we did walk approx 4 kms looking at the flood

I didn't do Balance on Sunday

I went out for dinner last night and ate

2 little salads and a bowl of the

most yummiest hot chips

and washed it all down with 3 rum and cokes......

so what did the scales say tonight

-1.3kgs

now to make it through our trip to NSW

with no gym, nights out

and no gym....

I am taking my sneakers and I will be going for

long walks on the beach.

I am determined

not to gain weight this week

and I am ony 1.7kgs away from my 5% goal...

make the great escape

sadly for Henry that is as far as he got.



Flood Waters

After all the rain we have had this week the gorge has come into flood

it is a very impressive sight

I have never seen the flood gates at royal park shut, and I have lived

here for 24 of my 32+7 years

Kings bridge, we drive over this bridge every day its the way into

our suburb



We have news

dh got the job

we fly to NSW next week

for a look see

planning on moving there

in May

I am happy and sad

does that make sense???
