Happy Birthday To Me

I bought myself a little birthday present the other night

a copy of this delicious book which is not availble here as the

stores are waiting for the next shipment to arrive :(

so my to do list for today is moved my sewing machine, cutting mat, rulers

cutter etc out to the dining room, try and rehang my design wall out here too

and continue to make the bears paw quilt, I am really enjoying making this quilt

and even though its going to be huge, I am going to attempt

 to quilt it

myself just by stitching in the ditch.

On my to do list/done list

and its not to big of a list YET

* wash the sheets from Em's room for her

cousins, and remake her bed

* move Imogens must have for night time to my room

(yes I am getting a bed mate for 10 days :)

Henrycat will not be impressed

* clean up my sewing room, move Wolfie and what I will need

to the dining room

* find sheets, doona's, pillows and a quilt for the sofa bed

(Mr 15's new bedroom)

* mop the bathroom/kitchen floor

* make 3 more lil bear paw blocks and 1 big sashed block

* start sewing the sashing for the BP quilt and work out how much extra

I need to find.

Bear Paws fabric is 'Summers End' by Kansas Trouble Quilters

I have used a fat quarter bundle so far and luckily for me

Butterfly Garden blends in really well and I have

a jelly roll of Butterfly Garden so it should work out just fine

well I am tired just from listing all that,

Sidetracked Today

After I put the makings and pattern away for Florence

and tidied up my messy lil sewing room ready to continue

on with my Civil War Quilts blocks, I heard a plastic bin

calling out

Pick Me Pick Me lol

so I did and inside that bin was these

and now I have 3 lil paws to make and 1 more big paw print block

when its finished it should be 89" x 89"

big enough for my bed yay.

now onto a sadder note

I lose my sewing room tomorrow for 10 days

 think of me here with my 3 girlies and my sisters 3 teenagers

 I will be shifting my sewing machine out to the dining room I

 just hope Mr 15 doesn't mind me popping in occasionally to get what I need...

                                         Is it just my computer or is blogger not playing nicely tonigjt?
                                             I have had to do this post edit via my phone blogger did let me
                                                 do the original post but then wouldn't let me add it



                                                             Frustrating is putting it mildly

So tempted

to start something new,

but as i still have the FINAL Down in the Garden block to

stitch so that means I can't.... :(

shame really because I pulled out all the bits to make this

today for Miss Imogen who decided she NEEDED a Florence

to keep her much loved Magoo company

and get stuck into some more civil war quilts blocks.
