Christmas

is supposed to be a time of joy for everyone.

Sadly today we know of a family from our little school that will not be feeling the joy this year.

Our school music teacher passed away yesterday in Sydney, where he had been a patient for 2 weeks after suffering a massive heart attack at a concert, yesterday he died from a blood clot that travelled from his heart to his brain. Mr S leaves behind a beautiful wife, a daughter starting high school and 2 little more little girls.

Makes you put things into perspective.

the marital issues I am trying to sort out are NOTHING compared to the loss that the family of Mr S are experiencing.

In fact the news made me send my dh a message that very simply said I love you lets sort us out.

Please keep Mr S's family in your thoughts and prayers.

He will be very missed.

I have learnt

that leopards don't change their spots!

and I am very disappointed in the above statement.

and I have let it be known that

I AM NOT HAPPY JAN!

so now I am back to pondering my future!

He Came

He looked

He dug

he promised he would be back tomorrow to 'sort it out'

otherwise

I went to lunch today with some awesome girlie friends

we are having shepards pie for dinner

and then I have to make 50 lil christmas puds for the twosomes classes for tomorrow

I WILL remember to take a photo tonight and share tomorrow

and the most exciting news is

My biggest baby is coming home to see his mama in January, booked his flights yesterday

so I am excited.

Currently

We are awaiting the plumber......

we have dug the whole garden bed out, removed the tree ferns, demolished half a step

and for what you ask

NOTHING..... NADA.... ZIP

Our sewer junction is missing, we have NO IDEA where it is hiding so today we work on plan D

which involves the pumber, lots of pipes and HIM sweating under the house.

We just need him to arrive and agree to do it.

because I am not demolishing the rest of the steps to find the stupid junction that is not there........

the plan is to re-route  the plumbing under the house TODAY

because if we do it the plumbers way I will have no yard, no steps and still no junction  lol,

I have to laugh because if I don't laugh I will probably start doing the ugly cry lol

Extensions

are on my to do list this weekend.

I have to dig up the pipe oh another metre, then when I find the junction I have to follow the pipe leading off it, that comes from the girlies bathroom.

Just how I wanted to spend my weekend

but I am thinking

Super Dad will come to my rescue again, I just don't want to have to tell him that we he didn't dig far enough up the hill...

and I really wanted to spend the weekend in trench thats 1 metre deep.........

I have to confess

I didn't dig, I wasn't allowed to dig

everytime I picked up the spade I was asked for a cup of tea lol

My super dad dug that trench

and he was exhausted whn I took him home

and yippee its not raining so that means the plumber will be here today

we are just hoping we/he has dug enough......

if not, then I will have to do the 'extensions'

but I am planing on filling the trench back up....

but shhhhhh don't tell super dad or I'll be in trouble.

Only a little bit off

with the measurements of WHERE the pipe was to be found, they were

 only off by 20cms and to the left lol

at the end of the pole where the small white patch was where the plumber said

in actual fact the pipe was here

a fair way off the white pipe

anyway the trench is dug the plumber will be back tomorrow

weather permitting

and I had a great find today I have wanted a garland for sooooo long

I have been to every department store in town looking

today I went to a shop on High Street and found it. So I bought it, hung it

decorated it and

ta da

a christmas garland for the mantlepiece

now I am feeling festive :)

and I got my missing button phew
