So So hot

and it's not even 9am, our normally beautiful cooling sea breeze has been replaced by a hotter than hot wind, according to the weatherman we were expecting a top of 31, well look at the temperature at 8:30am

He was wrong, although our little town is surrounded by bushland I feel very safe that we will be ok today, despite our severe fire warning. There isn't any lightening around, the National Parks have been cleared of campers and closed for the day, and we have no plans to go anywhere, the beach can wait until late this afternoon when it's cooled down.

Stay safe if you are in an extreme/catastrophic fire danger area. Things can be replaced, people can't.

Latest temp check...35.5 that's just wrong

It was 40.1 degrees at 1pm, it's now 3:15 and has dropped to 24 degrees and we are in the midst of a thunder storm, at least it's cool enough to stitch now :)
