As I mentioned earlier I decided that we needed a tree skirt so I finally decided on a pattern and here is the fabric's I selected
then I thought maybe a festive table runner would be good hence this little pile
then I left the shop lol
and some machine quilting on the bed runner

We've never had a tree skirt, and I've thought about it this year, but I think I have more than enough on my plate already, so perhaps next year. I look forward to seeing how yours turns out.
